Worcester, MA- The Worcester State men’s golf team wrapped up its conference championship with a seventh-place finish at the 2025 MASCAC Golf Championship, held at Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. The Lancers posted a two-day team score of +130 to close out the conference championship against a competitive field.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Golf team has been tabbed to finish in the MASCAC Coaches preseason poll as voted on by the conference coaches. Worcester will be led this year by seniors Jonny Gastonguay (Ashburnham, MA) and Cam Verna (Natick, MA) as they look to take the MASCAC crown in a few weeks.
The Worcester State men’s golf team opened its fall season at the NEC Invitational, hosted at the Country Club of New Hampshire, finishing fifth overall with a team score of 349 (+61).
Westfield, MA — A total of 1,062 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Winter/Spring 2025 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Worcester, MA- Wrapping up the season the Worcester State Men’s Golf team would host their annual Rich Korzec Tournament at Tatnuck Country Club in Worcester. The Lancers would have two squads compete on the day with junior Jonny Gastonguay (Ashburnham, MA) taking the win with a +2 for a score of 72 on the course. Worcester would take second place on the day finishing with a 305, +25, just behind Western New England who won the meet with a score of +8 and a 288.
